What kind of equipment is available for me to use for class? How can I get it?

School of Education

The Technology Resource Center (LAEB 3287) has equipment available for faculty check-out to support instructional uses. There are several kinds of technology available including: TV/VCR, cassette recorder, digital still cameras, digital video camcorders, laptop computers, LCD projectors, etc. These are available to Education faculty and staff for check-out free of charge. Students may also check out TRC equipment, but only under the auspices of a faculty or staff member.

To see a list of equipment available at TRC, view the following website: http://admin.education.purdue.edu/support/trc/Resources/welcome.htm

To learn more about the TRC's check-out policy: http://admin.education.purdue.edu/support/trc/policy/CHECKOUTPOLICY.htm

Some additional equipment, such as Polycom video conferencing equipment and wireless laptops, is available within the School through the P3T3, TCCT, and other initiatives. For more information about video conferencing equipment, contact Mike Eldridge or see the companion FAQ on video conferencing. For information about equipment that may be available through the P3T3 project, send an email to p3t3@education.purdue.edu. For information about equipment that may be available through the TCCT project, send an email to tcct@purdue.edu.
